Field Cruiser

This midweight version of the iconic Cruiser Jacket is designed for use in dry conditions. The 9.5-oz. cotton is modeled after the material used for vintage military uniforms. For warmer days, the double-layer back panel and pocket have been removed, making the jacket lighter. The four front cargo pockets are protected by snap-flap closures, and a slotted utility pocket is mounted on the left chest. The front and adjustable cuffs are secured with durable buttons.

The design of the Cruiser Jacket was patented in 1914. Made from heavy, warm wool, the jacket was developed for foresters and quickly became a favorite of the U.S. Forest Service, generations of sportsmen, and all outdoor enthusiasts. This new cotton version provides the typical comfort of the Cruiser Jacket even in transitional weather. The model is equally suitable as a work coat, work jacket, or everyday jacket. Garment-dyed and pre-washed for the perfect feel from day one.
