Red Wing Heritage is a traditional brand that has been run for three generations. It describes the typical American dream: Charles Beckman, an immigrant from Germany, founded the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1905. Today, his shoes are known all over the world.
In his shoe store on Main Street, he recognized the need for sturdy work shoes. The quality and comfort in every pair of boots quickly spread, and the company flourished. Today, the third generation of employees continues this commitment to quality by employing the same craftsmanship and attention to detail that brought the company its success back then.
To this day, the boots are exclusively handmade in the USA, Goodyear-welted and made of full-grain cowhide. The result: classic work boots such as the Iron Ranger, as well as the iconic Moc Toe with its distinctive moccasin seam, worn by US farmers.
