Wide Wild West - Secret Agent

The Secret Agent Denim is a 14oz Japanese denim developed from a nearly discarded fabric. During development in Japan, an entire batch of denim was accidentally damaged by water, causing the indigo dye to spread unevenly across the surface.

Instead of destroying the fabric, the mill collaborated with a nearby Japanese dye house to gently bleach the denim in its raw state. This gave the material a light, cloudy indigo tone with a soft, even finish. The fabric is delivered in this state and cut and sewn without washing.

Despite the bleaching process, the 14oz denim retains its strength and durability, offering improved drape and comfort from the start. Finished with a full-grain leather patch, the Secret Agent Denim embodies creative repurposing, turning imperfection into character.
